Coconut Island Software, Inc. Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy is private. All we can reveal about it is that we DO NOT give out, vend, sell, exchange, barter, peddle, auction, or market e-mail addresses of questioners or questionees.
Furthermore, our database administrator has been psychologically inured against torture and brainwashing, and has a cyanide capsule implanted in his upper left molar in case anyone attempts to get our e-mail addresses from him.
Seriously, though--Coconut Island Software, Inc. does not directly gather your information or track your usage. We DO maintain a large number of directory websites with about 30 million pages, and if you want your information to be listed, we list it. That's what we do. Simple.

These companies may use information (not including your name, address email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. NPI Registry and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
The NPI Registry is public information. In it's infinite wisdom, the Congress of the United States has seen fit to legislate that everyone who is belly up to the public trough to receive tax dollars must make their business contact information public. The federal policy is available
here.
NPI registrants SHOULD NOT submit their personal info such as cellphone number or home address to the NPI Registry. They will become public information and will be published.
The NPI (National Provider Identifier) numbering and identification system has replaced the previous UPIN, OSCAR, PIN and NSC systems of identifying health care providers and suppliers. NPI is a standard, unique identifier mandated by the The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
All health care providers are eligible for NPIs. Application forms are available from CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services), part of HHS (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services).
We receive monthly updates of the NPI Registry, which has over 3 million registrants. Once information has been updated with NPI, we will include the corrected records in our next update. If you ask nicely, we will delete incorrect information until the next update becomes available.
For NPI Registry corrections on our websites, please email
corrections@coconutisland.com, and include name, state and NPI number.
